• The U.S. Tariff Commission has reported to Leather Local 29 of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Union that foreign imports were not responsible for closing down the Ohio Leather Company plant at Girard last fall and therefore the 280 employed there are not eligible for federal adjustment assistance
